Continuing our trip, we arrive at Charco Verde, a charming place that combines natural beauty with a mystical touch. Surrounded by dense tropical forest, this small lake with green waters is a haven of tranquility. You can observe diverse wildlife and flora and visit a nearby nature reserve. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a boat ride on the lake to appreciate the serenity of the surroundings.
Caribbean Waters
The next destination is Ojo de Agua, a natural pool of refreshing crystal-clear waters. Located on Ometepe Island, this natural wonder is fed by volcanic hot springs and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Here, you can enjoy a relaxing bath or simply rest in the shade of the trees. There are also comfortable sunbathing areas and picnic spots for you to enjoy.
History & Culture
After a day filled with natural adventures, it’s time to immerse ourselves in Nicaragua’s rich history and culture. The Museum of El Ceibo offers an incredible collection of artifacts and historical exhibitions that narrate the country’s history and heritage. The museum is a must-visit for history and culture enthusiasts.
Finally, we head to Santo Domingo Beach for a delightful seaside lunch. This beautiful beach, situated on Nicaragua’s Pacific coast, offers the perfect combination of white sand, crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed atmosphere. You can indulge in a variety of fresh seafood and typical regional dishes while enjoying the sea breeze and gazing at the waves.
